Butchart Residence

This house at 3255 SW 78th Avenue in Portland’s West Hills neighborhood was built in 1942 and was poorly updated over 20 plus years. The kitchen, kitchen nook, and primary bathroom were renovated from the studs out, with marble backsplash and flooring in the kitchen, tile flooring in the bathroom, and all new cabinets and counters throughout the home. The basement was also completely remodeled from the studs out, with new windows and doors, including a private entrance, and a new kitchenette was added for guests and family use.
